In this role Deane will be responsible for all local and state government relations activities in California and Hawaii, with a special emphasis on California. Under Deane's direction, the Government Relations team will monitor legislative and regulatory activities, oversee state industry policies, franchise management and compliance, and foster relationships with key officials.

Deane joined Time Warner Cable in 2001 as Vice President of External Affairs. During his tenure, he has earned a reputation for being an industry advocate and a tenacious leader. In the last three years, he oversaw government, community and public affairs initiatives for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Division. Among Deane's many talents is his ability to represent Time Warner Cable on matters before city, state and federal policy makers.

Deane attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, School of Fine Arts and currently resides in Chatsworth, California.
